Little One’s Autumn Bucket List

Autumn is here and whether it’s their very first magical fall or they love toddling through the seasons then it’s time to make some forever memories. This season is one of the most magical too – feeling like a warm cosy hug and coming with crisp golden leaves, rosy cheeks, woolly mittens and dreamy days out.

So, grab their mini little coat, let them waddle around in wellies, and get ready to tick off some of our favourite autumn adventures together…

Visit a Pumpkin Patch

We don’t think you’re ever too young (or too old!) to enjoy the magic of the pumpkin patch. Together you can pick out the biggest, best (or funniest looking!) pumpkins you can find. Grab their little beanie and pop on some waterproof bottoms (especially if it’s been raining!) and gear up for the cutest photos.

Decorate Your Pumpkins

So you’ve all got your favourite pumpkins ready and raring to go. Now it’s time to decorate them! Carving’s fun – but not so easy (or safe) for little ones. Instead? Let them pop stickers, googly eyes and scribble smiley faces in felt tip pens. We can’t wait to see their creations!

Bake Pumpkin-Spiced Treats

Whether it's cupcakes, cookies, or cinnamon-swirled rolls, make some delicious treats together. Your little helper can pop on an apron too and help to pour all the ingredients inside, mix them all up and (most importantly) do a taste test.

Collect Golden Leaves

Why not go for an autumnal walk with your little tot? You can collect the crunchiest, prettiest autumn leaves together, seeing what colours and shapes you can find. Once you get back in the cosy warmth of home, you can create masterpieces together by sticking your leaves onto paper. Or how about making a leafy wreath to put on the door? For smaller children you can try some crayon rubbings – just pop the leaves under the sheet and they can use a wax crayon to bring a pattern to the surface.

Trick or Treat Adventures

Let them dress up as whatever character they want to be (maybe a cute little witch or a pretty pumpkin?), grab their little bucket, and light up the neighbourhood one sugary smile at a time.

Jump in a Giant Pile of Leaves

Go for a walk around the park, feed the duckies and find a pile of crunchy leaves to jump in! Sometimes the smallest things are the most fun!

Cosy Movie Nights

Grab the popcorn, pop them in their cosiest jammies, and snuggle up with the cosiest blankets you can find. Then it’s time to pop on a Halloween film to watch with the lights turned low. Some of our favourites? It has to be Hocus Pocus, Scooby-Doo, or The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Toast Melty Marshmallows

Whether over a firework’s night bonfire or on the hob (with a grown up doing the toasting of course!), nothing beats sticky fingers and marshmallowy smiles.

Make a Cosy Reading Nook

Pile up the blankets, scatter the cushions, maybe even create a little den to watch the magic come to life in the snuggliest moments.

It’s all about making memories with the ones who mean the most, soaking in the magic of a new beginning, and seeing the season through their eyes – one leaf-crunching, marshmallow-melting, pumpkin-decorating day at a time.

Pssst… save this list and check them off as you go – and keep your eyes peeled for our Autumn collection coming very soon!
