Digital Content Designer

Location: Northampton / Remote with regular travel to Northampton

About You

You’ll have an expert eye for typography, illustrations and layouts as well as being focused on attention to detail. With a flare for creative story-telling and creating engaging and “thumb-stopping” social media, email and web content, you’ll be digitally minded and comfortable working to tight deadlines. You’ll have a good understanding of responsive design across mobile and tablet and previous experience working with multiple teams to create cohesive campaigns and projects. A great working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Aftereffects) are essential to the role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support the Head of Brand Content & Campaigns to create cohesive, campaigns across all channels and web.
  • Action creative briefs from across the business and to create pixel perfect designs in line with deadlines and brand guidelines.
  • Working on a wide range of graphics including: Digital content for email marketing and onsite, Printed marketing and promotional material, Content for social media & blog posts
  • Attending marketing and content meetings to provide insights and recommendations from a design perspective.
  • Working closely with the Head of Brand Content & Campaigns on our branding strategy and guidelines.
  • Communicating and collaborating with other departments about the design work itself and the reasoning behind it.
  • Working with the web and UX teams to create landing pages and new initiatives that work with both brand guidelines and commercial goals.
  • Proactively using initiative and industry knowledge to recommend ideas that push the creative boundaries and improve the quality of our creative output.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience working in a Design role, ideally within a retail environment.
  • Proven experience in using Adobe CC applications: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A relevant Design degree
  • Experience in digital design especially across emails, web and social media.
  • Solid understanding and experience in both print and online design.
  • Passionate about keeping up to date with creative trends to creative boundaries and improve the quality of our creative output.
  • Ability to use initiative and think ahead by anticipating the requirements of a brief, asking the right questions and being prepared for a variety of scenarios and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the wider business.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for the need for quality across all creative output.

CRM Executive

Location: Northampton / Remote with regular travel to Northampton

About You

As a pivotal member of the CRM team, you will support the Head of Customer Retention & Loyalty (Head of CRL) to deliver our customer acquisition, retention, re-engagement, referral and high-value customer segments programmes, collaborating on the ideation of new initiatives to attract, delight and re-engage these customers again and again. This role supports a critical CRM focus on optimising data and insights to leverage our marketing and email campaigns, and will require a data-driven marketeer with a creative mindset to support and identify on-brand opportunities across the business to improve lifecycle marketing and our targeted, personalised email communications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Data & Customer Insight:

  • Support the Head of CRL to deliver and execute our data-led customer segmentation, LTV strategy and customer acquisition programmes
  • With a passion for all things data, you will partner alongside the Commercial Data Analyst to brief all CRM reporting requirements, utilising the data to provide key learnings, insights and inferences to improve and develop all ongoing CRM initiatives
  • Input into all weekly Trade, quarterly Customer Insight and ad-hoc reporting

Email Marketing:

  • Work closely with the brand marketing and Trade teams to collate all requirements for our weekly email campaigns, ensuring all assets are delivered on time, as briefed
  • Manage the CRM Email Calendar, working alongside the Head of CRL to plan and deliver all ongoing customer marketing campaigns
  • Use dynamic content and segmentation strategies to deliver relevant and personalised content in order to drive customer engagement and increase CLV and repeat purchase rate
  • As a subject matter expert in email marketing, you will be responsible for managing all email output for the business including planning, briefing, testing and deployment of our broadcast, transactional and lifecycle communications
  • Deliver a robust Testing programme across our weekly email campaigns, in order to learn and apply best practices that will enhance email engagement with our new and existing customers
  • Participate in wider marketing & brand planning and activities as required.
  • CRM is not a siloed function! So having the ability to work cross-functionally and with 3rd party suppliers (remotely and in person in the future) is critical for the success of this role

Skills and Knowledge

  • 2-3 years experience in customer marketing, with an emphasis on email marketing, engagement, retention marketing
  • Previous CRM experience in a retail/ecommerce environment is particularly desired
  • A data-driven and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to identify key opportunities for growth through our email marketing, loyalty, referral and lifecycle marketing programmes
  • The confidence to work independently (whilst at times remotely) as well as the ability to work closely with other team members, often on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with ESP tools, ideally Ometria, and a strong understanding of split-testing to drive statistically meaningful results
  • A good understanding of analysing and interpreting data and email performance metrics from GA, Datitude (data-visualization tool) and Ometria in particular
  • A head for numbers as well as being able to think creatively
  • Strong Excel skills for creating and maintaining reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management skills, with diligent attention to detail in order to meet strict deadlines

Performance Marketing Manager

Location: Northampton / Remote with regular travel to Northampton


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To deliver the digital marketing strategy to drive the acquisition of new customers whilst developing a strong retention strategy in partnership with the Head of CRM
  • Work within the wider marketing team to accelerate business growth across current channels: Paid and Organic Search, Affiliates, Paid social, display and also growth in new areas such as youtube, pinterest etc
  • Develop channel specific strategic roadmaps and testing plans, as well as analysing results and developing actionable insights
  • To work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing and Creative teams to deliver integrated multichannel digital marketing campaigns
  • To build relationships and manage external partners such as our affiliate network
  • Full financial management and tracking of performance marketing budgets
  • Lead a small team to manage hands-on day-to-day paid campaign activities: bid management, use of automation, performance monitoring, driving improvement in impression share and quality scores, campaign expansion, account restructures and segmentation, etc.
  • Proactively assess and test all relevant opportunities to drive sales and performance
  • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to optimise channel performance
  • Be the owner and lead of paid search with a priority focus on our shopping focus. Optimising, testing, making efficiencies with attention to detail across daily results to report back to the business and make recommendations
  • Work with the brand team to create best in class paid social media campaigns: Measure, analyse and make data driven decisions on how to best optimise and target defined audiences towards exceeding campaign objectives
  • Manage our affiliate marketing network to drive transformation and growth whilst continually identifying opportunities and building direct relationships with key affiliate partners
  • Bring innovation and new ideas to ensure we are leaders in the marketing across digital marketing
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to build out our reporting suite with actionable insight, make recommendations for our feed and work with the trading teams to share areas of conversion rate improvements for digital marketing campaigns

Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years experience within a performance marketing role
  • Ideally with an agency background of 1+ years
  • Proven experience of driving sales and managing SEO, PPC, Social, Display and Affiliate Marketing programmes
  • Confident presenting information in spoken, written and visual form to a variety of audiences of different knowledge levels
  • Experience in managing a small team
  • Highly numerate and data driven/results-orientated
  • Hands on experience within Google ads, Bing and Facebook plus data analytics tools including Google Analytics

Commercial Data Analyst

Location: Northampton / Remote with regular travel to Northampton

About You

As Commercial Data Analyst, you will use data intelligence to generate insights required across the business to help guide strategy and deliver effective planning and results. The role is a highly collaborative one, supporting all areas of the business, from the buying & merchandising team to the marketing team. Your strong analytical mind and “data curiosity” will be able to convert analytical findings into actionable insights. You will be able to provide the ‘so what?’ and suggest the ‘what now?’

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Data warehouse:

  • Be the day-to-day contact with third party data warehouse provider (Datitude)
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of our data sources and develop strategies for their enhancement
  • Assist with new data warehouse integrations and any bespoke projects involving our data platform

Reporting:

  • Proactively improve the quality of company reporting
  • Build, use, adapt and improve data dashboards to satisfy internal and external demands
  • Develop reports to share observations and recommendations with relevant business departments

Analysis

  • Interpret, document and present data driven insights to support business decisions, providing conclusions and recommendations
  • Deliver on ad-hoc analysis briefs answering critical business questions
  • Regular engagement with internal stakeholders at all levels to deliver key insights

Training & support:

  • Help educate internal stakeholders on the use of data and analytics in planning and decision making
  • Carry out regular training sessions with the various tableau users across the business to ensure they are getting the most out of the data platform
  • Introducing new joiners to our platform and providing the required training

Skills and Knowledge

  • Have a degree, most likely in science, engineering, mathematics or other analytical subject
  • Have recent experience of data wrangling and manipulation, as well as visualisation (min. 2 years experience)
  • Experience working with large datasets and good commercial knowledge of SQL
  • Have strong analytical and numerical skills, demonstrable understanding of data
  • Be a proficient tableau ‘end to end’ user. From scoping, designing and building tableau dashboards and reports with a strong grasp of both Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop
  • Have experience working with stakeholders of all levels to gather requirements and make insightful business suggestions using data
  • Be articulate in English with experience communicating insights to non-technical audiences
