Our backpacks will withstand a mad dash to the school gates in the rain, however extra protection for the contents would be recommended if there was prolonged exposure to wet conditions. (Approximately the same diameter as a standard drinks can). The elastic and mesh netting will stretch a little if your drinks bottle is slightly larger.
