4 Creative ideas to reuse your My 1st Years Box

May 29, 2020Advice, How to, Things To Do

As we get further into lockdown, we are always looking for new ways to have fun with what we have at home. If your little ones have ever received a gift from us, you probably have one of our classic blue gift boxes lying around. With a little imagination and a dash of creativity, your box can be so much more. Try one of these fun ideas below to make the most of your My 1st Years box.

Flower Planter

While we’re spending most of our time inside, use your box to bring the best of the outdoors into your home.

Coronavirus Time Capsule

We are living through history right now, so capture a snapshot of your family during this time by transforming your box into a time capsule. With your little one, prepare a quick fact sheet for them to fill out about themselves, how they’re feeling right now and what they’re looking forward to after lockdown is lifted. You could even ask your little one to write a letter to their future self and include a letter to them from you as a parent.

To make it easier, we’ve put together a printable activity pack filled with templates for you and your kids to fill out together – Download it below.

Keepsake Box

With all this extra time at home together, now is the perfect time to make memories worth treasuring. Keep them safe and secure inside your My 1st Years box.

Doll’s House

Now that little ones are spending so much time playing with their favourite toys, make sure their home is as comfortable as yours by making their very own doll’s house.

If you do try one of these ideas, don’t forget to take a picture and tag us in your upcycled box photos on Instagram! We love to see what you’re getting up to during lockdown, and we would love to repost your pictures of how you’re reusing your My 1st Years gift box.

With love,
