Toddler Style File: Harper Beckham

March 2, 2015Interesting Articles

We suspected when little Harper Beckham was born that she would lead a well off, well protected (we’d hope so with three older brothers), and most importantly well dressed childhood, and we’re happy to report that our predictions are so far accurate. Unlike some oft-papped parents who dress their little ones in full leather ensembles and floor length kimonos (yes we’re looking at you Kim and Kanye), Victoria and David have so far dressed Harper with impeccable style while remaining age appropriate. Here are some of our favourite looks from her first three years:

Whilst working on her own fashion label Victoria kept Harper in classy shades of maroon, indigo and beige, never forgoing the comfort that all little ones need. We particularly love the clash of patterns in the centre photo – a handy reminder to coordinate our outfits with our sons and daughters if we ever have the time or energy to do so!

David meanwhile isn’t afraid to introduce some volume into his daughter’s outfits, pairing her oversized grey cardi-coat with a snug knitted hat to keep her warm in winter. By the time of the second picture it looks like she’s having some aesthetic input herself; we love the childish combination of orange-laced trainers with a baby pink bomber jacket.

As she turned two it was time for a bit of experimentation with pastels – her all-yellow ensemble looks perfect next to mum’s red and blue vest top, whilst a pair of mini Doc Martens add a punk-y edge to her bubblegum pink dress with dad.

If Victoria’s outfits can sometimes appear too cool and polished, we love that she and dad have kept a sense of fun and eclecticism with Harper’s wardrobe. She continues to look chic but playful, rocking colourful Stella McCartney moccasins and a faux fur coat like a pro.
