What a jam packed three days last weekend was! Hard to believe it was almost a week ago now…first on Friday we hosted our inaugural blogger event, to which we invited some of the best mummy bloggers from across the land to our specially decorated haven in South Kensington. We were super excited – and a bit nervous – to finally meet some of the names we’ve come to know so well, along with their equally gorgeous little tots. The mums were given a first hand preview of our Christmas 2016 range and treated to a talk by My 1st Years founders Dan and Jonny, as well as leaving with some lovingly personalised gifts courtesy of our in-house elves. Scroll down to see pics from the event…
Along with their hampers, goody bags and stockings, guests were treated to individually
iced biscuits. (Too bad there weren’t any spares.)

Marketing manager Nicole with wannabe boss Livi.
Creative little ones kept themselves busy with our ‘Colour Your Own’ Christmas Stockings.
Of course the adorable bubbas were the main attraction…
And our head designer Liv was more than happy to relieve one mum for a few minutes!

It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed the ample photo opportunities.
“It can’t be time to leave already??”
After all that excitement, we whizzed down the road to Kensington Olympia where we spent the weekend showing our wares to even more fans who were attending The Baby Show. Here are a few snaps of our stand being put together:
Customers could have their gifts personalised before their very eyes.
The photogenic calm before the storm…
As fate would have it, the minute the doors opened our stand became flooded with eager customers, and we were simply too busy to take any photos during the days themselves! If you were there and took any, be sure to put them on Instagram and tag us @my1styears so we can see them.
The amazing interactions we had with our fans made us realise how important it is to see you face to face, so be sure to look out for us at future Baby Shows taking places up and down the country in 2016. There’s even talk among the team of us opening a shop in the near future – just watch this space…
