It’s that time of year again – the Office for National Statistics has just released its annual report on the most popular baby names of the year, and we’ve got the results right here to share with you…
In the boys’ corner, Jaxon, Roman, Reggie and Carter enter the top 100 for the first time, while the six new girls’ additions are Penelope, Mila, Clara, Arabella, Maddison and Aria. Having received orders for more than a few of these names on our products over the past year, we’re hardly surprised by their ever-increasing popularity. In total, there were 697, 852 births in England and Wales in 2015, with over 27,000 boy’s names and 35,000 girl’s names being registered for bouncing little ones – so which ones were most popular?
We’ve got some mover-uppers, sliding-downers and some that haven’t moved at all. Here are the official top ten baby names from 2015:
