The founders of My 1st Years were featured on The Alan Titchmarsh Show yesterday on ITV. They were showcasing the personalised baby gifts and were interviewed by the host Alan Titchmarsh.

The hip-hop royalty power couple were inspired by their own art when naming baby blue! The Blue comes from the Blueprint, Jay Z 2001 album which later triggered a trilogy of albums. The origin of the newborns middle name stands for IV the Roman numeral for 4.

The number 4 is very important to the couple with Beyonces' birthday being September 4th and Jay-Z’s being December 4th. The couple were married on April 4th. Beyonces latest album being named 4 which is fitting.
 
So there you have it! The reasoning behind the name.

My 1st Years Co-Founder Daniel Price met Johnny Vaughan & Lisa Snowdon this morning at the Capital Radio studios in Leicester Square. The My 1st Years gifts have been received extremely well by Lisa (for nephew Finley), Johnny (for niece Mimi) and producer Rich (for his son Henry)!

We sent Elton John and his partner David Furnish a baby gift set through Heart radio for their newborn Zachary. Harriet Scott handed the gifts to Elton and after seeing the delight on Elton's face when he opened the My 1st Years box we knew we had to put a smile on Harriet's face too! Harriet recently had a baby called Max so we sent her a gift set containing a blue fleece blanket, navy high top trainers, baby blue sheepskin booties and a Bailey bear for Max to cuddle.
